Daddy Day

There's no doubt that M is a wonderful father and hubby to us in this house.  He's pretty darn amazing.  He's fun but still sensible. He's fair and methodical when solving stand-offs. He has enable the two speaking children to learn the Swans theme song.  He loves us! I don't know anyone else that can continuously exist on 3 hours sleep and function in a normal day without bursting into tears or reverting to tantrums. This year he chose his Father's Day present to be a sleep-in for ME! Couldn't believe my luck. Love 'im.

Three days prior: making a chocolate cake in the cup AB decorated for him at Kindy. (We have entered the era of silly faces for photos.)

Baking chocolate snails for our Father's Day picnic.

...as I was saying about silly faces.

And again.

Gorgeous faces.

He's fairly new to the two wheeled version but has ridiculously inflated confidence in his skills.  Actually he hasn't stacked it yet despite flirting with speed + gravel + fishtail skiddies.  He also managed to manoeuvre both wheels over the top of our fish and chips on the picnic rug last weekend.  Not accidently...just in an Evil Kenevil kinda stunt.

We had a picnic at Whiteman Park and spent some time on their diesel train ride. The Menace wasn't created to exist in small spaces and required full restraint at all times.  He is gorgeous (see previous image for proof) but exhaustingly hard work.  Other offspring are gorgeous (see following image) and difficult in their own way.

My new thrill-seeking activity.
