Mostly AB

Making plaster hand casts in the sandpit.

First time this winter he's worn long pants and a jacket.  Cam and Ash's wedding called for it!  He did a great job of taking the rings up to Cam in the ceremony and we secretly hid a smartie in the ring boxes for a bit of a mid-wedding giggle.

Learning about hard boiled eggs after seeing them in a Dr Seuss story.  Who knows why it took me 3 years to feed him hard boiled eggs.  Easiest snack ever.

"A yoghurt for me and a yoghurt for Ratty".  Notice he's set up the picture book for Ratty to read with the cheese picture front and centre.  His imagination is developing nicely!!

Standing on the box on the deck in front of the kitchen sink.  His current favourite place.  He loves that he can be eye-to-eye with me and ask for food to be passed through the window.

Tending to Ratty's emotional needs.

This is not a set-up.  He is a good sharer!!

Down on the farm riding on a bumpy 'Scrambly'.  In Bob the Builder there's a character called Scrambler but, due to AB having half of MB's genes, nothing ever gets called by it's full, proper name!

Caught at it!  They were have a spontaneous cuddle while watching Pingu on the computer.

Everyone who knows us will know that this picture is in our most valuable collection.  Cam came out of hospital for a few hours to visit the kids on Sunday arvo.  We love those boys.

Grandies Visit in June

Snuggled up with Grandma.  Reading. Reading. Reading.

Peacock hunting with Grandpa.

AB playing a peacock call on an iPhone game to the real, live peacock..."Hey Peacock, this is you."

Jem trying to work out this thing called a koala.

Two koalas and one Grandpa.

The Maze.  Weaving our way to the tower.

We made it to the top of the tower.

Jem and Daddy trying to find their way.

This was the second time Jem had seen/experienced rain in her memory.  Perth had been so, so dry.  The first time she saw it was on the way to the airport to pick up the grandies.  When I used the windscreen wipers she just giggled and giggled with excitement.  This was the second time.  We were all taking shelter in a shed and she ventured out into the downpour and stood for ages looking up to the heavens with a quizzical look.

She's happy to give anything a go.  Angus on the other hand has worn shorts and T-shirts almost every day since October last year.  He doesn't do 'long' without a behavioural incident.

Just watching the street.  They love eachother's company and it's delightful to observe.

Crazy bath night.  You want to wear beanies in the bath tonight?  Sure.  You want blue food colouring in the bath water? Sure.  You want to wear your sox in the bath tonight?  Sure.  We had three nights in a row with different themes.

Boring

No blogging.  Our computer crashed and it's all too hard to think about.  We've been busy....

Sydney grandparents visiting for a week and 2 bonus days thanks to the volcanic ash.

Cam and Ash got married last weekend.  Angus and Stelli did a great job presenting them with their rings at the ceremony...with smarties hidden in the boxes!!

We've been SICK.  Kids are miserable and sick as dogs.  Makes for a very long week when they are too sick to leave the house.  Lots of TV and eating junk.  Angus didn't even eat any chips last night with our takeaway.  That is about as sick as it gets.

Hoping we'll come out the other side soon.  We want our computer back and hope all is not lost.
