Apparently this blog is sposed to be a joint effort

Rachel has been on to me for some time about contributing to OUR blog so here is my maiden contribution....

The picture below is one of our first projects around the home - a small area for a BBQ table. We had our first BBQ out there on Saturday with my learning partners from uni. Even though we finished our studies last year both Roberta and Christina were such excellent learning partners that we still catch up once a month for a bite to eat. On Saturday the partners were also invited. Rachel, Trevor and Livio made it a very relaxing afternoon and we hardly talked uni stuff at all.

The weekend before we had been down to Canberra as part of our series of east coast adventures. Not only were we one of the 25,000 who attended the dawn service but we enjoyed checking out the sights of our nations capital. Probably the highlight was catching up with Anne Harris and the lovely Lina Andonovska one Rachel's students from last year. Lina is studying Music at ANU. She is talented and delightful and we are looking forward to seeing her again soon to celebrate her 18th birthday.

Mission accomplished and one more brownie point for me - which brings me up to minus 18.
