Easter 2010

The tradition has begun...the egg hunt on Sunday morning. Neither Angus or I had done one before so I had to clarify with Michael the details of egg hiding (ie. did they only get left at ground level or could you put them up trees?!). Our Mum's group peeps came over and the frenzy was on. In the last few days Angus has been in fine form shouting "COCO" (Chocolate) with full lung capacity at various intervals during the day and night. It's very funny but of course we don't condone shouting or Coco. Once Angus (and the other kids) got the hang of the hunt, the frenzy escalated. It was a great morning with Hot Cross Buns, Dyed eggs, Egg Cup Cakes (thanks Kristie - Mum #2 for Angus) and Bacon and Egg Tarts. Jemilla just slept and looked gorgeous.

As I'm typing this I heard more COCO shrieks in the backyard and Angus has delivered me two previously unfound eggs and a mouthful of another whole egg. How do we tackle dietary reform tomorrow?

Yesterday we had a family brunch with less Coco and more bacon!
