What a Mess!

This is our backyard at the other place.  Bit of a mess that will take another 3ish months (ha ha) to clean up.  Hopefully back in by late July.

Taken from the same position as the above photo...laundry in foreground completely gone, looking through to dining room and door into the kitchen.

Marching Along

The rental that feels like a holiday house with minimal furniture, lino floors and bikes that are allowed inside. And of course ironing, beach towels and folding that lay unattended until the holidayer can be bothered.  Actually this house has more wildlife than a sanctuary.  In three months we've had 'plagues' of caterpillars, moths (funny that), earwigs, ants, spiders, super-sized cockroaches, millipedes, crickets, something eating fruit in the bowl and something large in the roof every night. The place is crawling - I even killed a cockroach lying next to Michael on his pillow yesterday.

The big 2 cashing in on his new nappy changing tradition.

Mmmm, I think I'll just put this stool on top of this table and sit here for a while.

Summer lovin'.

The watermelon version of Chubby Bunnies.

Awww, family moments.
Awww, cuddles with Daddy before bed.  He's still watching those nursery rhymes on the phone. Obsessive behaviour does run down one side of his family genes.
21st March - our first drop of rain since mid-October.  The novelty of rain is the same every year around this time.

Fab Feb

There were a few things about February that were newsworthy on the Barr Channel....
We found a way to make The Menace lie down long enough to change his nappy...nursery rhymes on YouTube. He is  mesmerised long enough to avoid the parental despair of changing the nappy of an inking, fighting octopus.

Jem had a Happy Birthday to celebrate being 4.
We were lucky to get this picture as.....
...an hour before the big song, The Menace pulled the cake to the edge of the table and tried to rip out the horses.  Saved in the nick of time.

She's not heavy, she's my Kindy Sister.  First Day.

Two big kids at school and Siley's first solo date with Mumma.  It wasn't awkward conversation, I think we got on ok and he really like me.
Oh, was it Friday? That means another tooth gets knocked out. Two within a week. This time a buddy collision in the playground at PP.  Not a hyperventilating parent in sight for this one.
